St Mary’s College introduced to CAD with Tekla Structures

Andrius Reciunas from BuildingPoint had a great time recently introducing CAD with Tekla Structures to students at St. Mary’s College in Maryborough, Qld.  He went through the basics of modelling and drawing creation and showed the students how to use the XR10 helmet to interact with virtual models.  The students also visited the Moddex design office to see how they use Tekla Structures in real-life, followed by a visit to the workshop to see how their products are made.

“The students were really engaged and excited to learn about this new technology.  They were able to see how Tekla Structures can be used to create accurate and details models of structures, and they also got a glimpse of the possible use cases for XR10, such as remote inspection and quality control,” said Andrius.  “I’m really glad I had the opportunity to share my knowledge with these students and I’m excited to see what they do with this technology in the future.”
