We want to inform our customers about BuildingPoint’s transition to subscription for certain products, and the end of Trimble Protected Software (TPP) for existing licenses.

Effective June 3, 2024, Trimble will shift away from offering perpetual licenses for FieldLink, FieldLink Office, FieldLink Scan Module, or Field Points software. While existing licenses remain valid, all new or additional licenses will transition exclusively to subscription-based models.

Customers currently on a Trimble Protected Software plan will receive updates up to FieldLink v7.0. Subsequent releases will require a subscription.

This transition is part of Trimble’s strategy to reduce upfront costs, making essential software more accessible to contractors. By embracing subscription-based models, Trimble not only aims to support business growth but also enhances flexibility for customers to adjust to evolving needs. Continuous improvements and customer-centric service remain key priorities for Trimble, ensuring ongoing value for users.
